The 3rd generation family-run weaver was founded in the 1920s. Expanded with exports to the Middle East, Tsukushiro set its direction to pursue the most extravagant fil-coupé jacquard fabric. “Assuming the warps are the base, how can we show our originality with the weft?” owner Tsukui Keisuke always asks himself. He never misses checking seasonal trends or communicating with pattern designers. In the showroom, you will see the most elaborate and delicate collection of jacquards, skillfully woven in various material combinations and textures. Tsukui talked about the great joy of seeing the company’s products transformed into fashion garments, sometimes in unexpected ways. Beginning from the concept building to meticulous jacquard clipping, it doesn’t recoil from time-consuming effort. Tsukushiro’s goal is not just producing fabrics, but also creating the best sartorial beauty, especially for women.
